Summer Conditioning - June 17
Who: Open to current and former MLMS & MLHS athletes
What: Summer conditioning is ESSENTIAL to develop in cross country, the aerobic work done in the summer will help you become a much better athlete in the fall.
When: 8:00 AM

Team Time Trial - June 29
Who: Athletes in or entering MLHS
What: A time trial is used to determine the team ranking and thus help solidify team order.
When: 8:00 AM
Where: Cross Country Tree by the Track @ MLHS
Who: Families of Cross Country Athletes
What: Join us for this mid-summer get-together, the goal of this meeting is for families to meet the coaching staff, ask questions, and get an idea of what the season will look like. Pizza and drinks will be provided to all who attend.
When: 6:00 PM
Where: Waterfront Park in Medical Lake
Family Pizza Night - July 10
Who: Families and Cross Country Athletes at MLHS
What: This is a fun event we attend that is used as an odd distance race over the summer. It is a 4-mile loop through Green Bluff with a nice uphill finish. We can provide transportation for kids but families are invited to tag along if they may want to walk or run the course themselves.
When: 5:00 PM
Where: Meet in the MLHS Bus Loop or transportation

Cherry Pickers Trot - July 18
Who: Families of Cross Country Athletes
What: Similar to the Parent Meeting earlier in the summer but with critical information such as parent support group signup, parent T-shirt signup, and meet overview for the season.
When: 6:00 PM
Where: Waterfront Park in Medical Lake
Official Parent Meeting - August 21
Official Practice - August 26
Who: MLHS Cross Country Athletes
What: These practices are required to be able to compete, if you cannot attend please let a coach know before practice time so it can be excused.
When: 2:45 PM
